A fashion illustrator uses buildings and clouds to finish his dress designs.

Shamekh Al-Bluwi

You might remember an article we made on Shamekh Bluwi, a fashion illustrator and architect from Jordan who uses buildings, clouds, and everything else he can find to adorn his cutout gowns. As you can see, his fashion designs are as creative as ever, and he has returned with even more gorgeous patterns.

The idea came to Bluwi while traveling to Dubai. In order to integrate his trip experiences into his fashion illustrations, he made the decision to create clothing designs based on the cities he visited. By holding the cutout against different landscapes, Bluwi may generate an endless amount of patterns with a single template, from houses and doorways to ocean and sky. It is clever, resourceful, and incredibly innovative despite its simplicity. See for yourself by looking at the pictures below.
