In order to love and be loved, almost everyone keeps dogs in their homes. However, who would bring a bear into their house? Meet the Panteleenkos, a Russian couple. Because of their enormous hearts, Svetlana and Yuriy discovered the bear when it was a cub, 23 years ago, in a condition that made it impossible for the hunters to find it.
The cub was about three months old when it was placed in the Panteleenkos' care. The cub was rescued, raised, and given a name by the pair. The baby was given the name Stephan! After twenty-three years, the bear has matured into a massive adult. However, it continues to reside and socialize with Svetlana and Yuriy.
